What We Do

Personal Training and Group Classes

We offer a wide range of private, semi-private, and group classes, all professionally designed and led by certified trainers.  Small group class sizes rage from 4-8 people so you will not be lost in a crowd, thus enabling trainers to spend the time necessary to maximize results while targeting your unique needs. 

Mat Pilates, Foam Roll and Stretch

Emphasizing the concepts of core strength and stabilization, students are taught to recruit their “powerhouse” muscles located in the center of their body, that when strengthened properly, offer a solid foundation for any movement. Students are also taught to develop more effective breathing techniques and correct posture. Pilates Mat exercises are designed to increase core strength, develop proper breathing techniques, strengthen and elongate muscles, reduce stress and improve balance. Foam Rolling is a form of myofascial release that utilizes a foam roller or small ball to massage muscles, breaking down tights knots of fascia, adhesions and scar tissue. This encourages blood flow and circulation for faster recovery time and making stretching more effective. 

Reformer Pilates

A comprehensive exercise method done on an apparatus called the reformer. It is used for strengthening the core, increasing body awareness, and improving flexibility through the spine and lower back. Reformer Pilates, when done at least 2 times per week as recommended, strengthens and protects muscles and joints from injury. Students will learn progressive exercises that will increase core strength, develop proper breathing, and correct posture. 

TRX Suspension Training / High Intensity Interval Training

A revolutionary method of leveraged body weight exercise. TRX exercises allow for the use of multiple planes of motion and work multiple muscles and joints simultaneously. You can perform hundreds of exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injuries, all at the intensity you choose and most importantly, in a very safe and effective manner. Get better results in less time with HIIT, which stands for High-Intensity Interval Training. Melt fat fast by utilizing a combination of the TRX suspension trainer, spinning bikes, jump ropes, BOSU balance trainer, free weights and the boxing bag! This class is fun, different, and a very effective workout

Ballet Barre

A unique combination of ballet dance moves and Pilates Mat exercises at the barre & on the floor that incorporates strength exercises, flexibility training and core exercises. These exercises are designed to increase core strength, develop proper breathing techniques, correct posture, strengthen and elongate muscles, reduce stress, and improve balance. Prior ballet training is not required.

Yogilates

A combination of Hatha Yoga & Mat Pilates that is open to all levels. Pilates Mat focuses on strengthening the core, correcting posture, and improving balance, while Yoga Asanas (poses) will strengthen, stretch and relax your body & mind. Class begins with a gentle warm up, followed by alternating Pilates Mat exercises and Yoga poses. It ends with a light savasana mediation.

Our facility is conveniently located in the heart of Lincolnwood and offers a variety of equipment such as  Pilates Reformers,  TRX Suspension Trainers, Spinning Bikes, BOSU Balance Trainers, Stability Balls, Kettlebells, Medicine Balls, and Free Weights. We also offer non-equipment based classes: Pilates Mat, Ballet Barre  and Yogilates.
